Roche Groundwater Cleanup Plan for Windsor Sewer Plume 

DECISION and SUMMARY STATEMENT:

On October 14, 2020, Roche started the 30–day public comment period for proposed response actions for the Windsor Sewer Plume as detailed in the following Focused Feasibility Study: Windsor Sewer Plume Focused Feasibility Study. A virtual public meeting was held October 26, 2020, during which the proposed response actions were discussed. Slides from the Technical Presentation are available on this website at www.Roche-Nutley.com. Roche received no comments/questions on this Focused Feasibility Study (FFS) during the public meeting or the public comment period. For the reasons stated in the Windsor Sewer Plume Focused Feasibility Study, Roche has selected and will implement the response actions proposed in the FFS for groundwater in the Windsor Sewer Plume.  The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection has previously approved the proposed remedial plan now selected and to be implemented by Roche.

SOIL REPORTS submitted to NJDEP

Roche has completed soil remediation work on the property. Please see the  Soil Reports page for links to the following documents:
- REMEDIAL ACTION REPORTS (RARs) - These detail the remedial actions undertaken during the remediation of soil on the Roche Nutley site.
- NJDEP APPROVAL LETTERS - The Remedial Action Approval letters confirm NJDEP review and approval of the RARs.
- RESPONSE ACTION OUTCOMES (RAOs) - Issued by a certified Licensed Site Remediation Professional, these documents certify that remediation is complete and no further action is needed

NJDEP approved implementation of remedies proposed in Roche's December 2019 Groundwater Remedial Action Work Plan and supported in the May 2020 Technical Impracticability (TI) detemination.
